Celldweller had this to say about “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)”:
“I took a moment to shed the concept of being Celldweller and instead, I wrote from the perspective of someone else. I reproduced the song from the ground up and it became a Celldweller track that naturally fits alongside everything else in the End of an Empire universe.”

As an extra bonus, Klayton shed some light on the inspiration & creation of “Good L_ck, Yo_’re F_cked” –
Chapter 03 has probably been the most fun I’ve had making the album so far. The biggest reason being I wrote “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked) as someone else. What does that exactly mean? Friend and colleague Grant Mohrman and I have been working on a movie script. The story revolves around an individual who fronts an electronic punk rock band. Although that aspect of the story no longer exists, I wrote this song before we scrapped that idea. I was envisioning a song that would open the entire movie, including lyrics that applied to the premise of the film. It’s rare for me to write and entire song in a day, but that’s what happened with G.L.Y.F. – because I took a moment to shed the concept of being Celldweller and instead wrote from the perspective of someone else. Then I reproduced the song from the ground up and it became a Celldweller track that naturally fits alongside everything else in the End of an Empire universe.

End of an Empire continues with the 2nd act in the prodigious third album from the hybrid electronic / rock artist Celldweller. Picking up right where ‘Chapter 01: Time’ left off, the “Love” chapter continues to build on the solely unique Celldweller fusion of compelling vocal melodies, destructive guitars, bewitching synthesis and atmospheres
After the opening “Faction,” (short pieces of sound design and story that serve as the backdrop for the world of End of an Empire), the album descends from it’s orbit with the 7 minute “Down to Earth” – a roller coaster ride that takes you from heavy guitars, blasting drums, gritty synthesizers and monstrous vocals to poignant leads, catchy rhythms and a touch of pop sensibility. “Heart On” lightens the mood with a tongue-in-cheek hook while still maintaining the signature Celldweller aggression for 6.5 minutes of a perfect yin and yang between dynamic and exciting instrumentation, propulsive beats and evocative vocals that echo the emotions one would expect from a chapter titled “Love.”
To further round out the release, Celldweller has again enlisted a selection of elite artists including alternative-culture mainstay Aesthetic Perfection, the YouTube production tutorial guru SeamlessR, EDM specialist KATFYR, along with the mysterious Mister Faux and a special VIP remix from Celldweller himself.
“End of an Empire is me, myself and I in my studio surrounded by lots of gear,” said Celldweller mastermind Klayton. “From the very first sound I lay down for a track to the final mastering, I’m in control over the final product.”
Celldweller is a #1 international selling artist in the iTunes and Amazon Electronic charts. His album, “End of an Empire (Ch 01: Time),” broke the Billboard charts with #15 on Billboard Electronic, and #32 on Billboard Heatseekers. Klayton’s music has been featured in hundreds of Film/TV/Video Game placements, such as Robocop, Pacific Rim, Dead Rising 3, along with many others.

For “End of an Empire (Ch 02: Love),” Celldweller has tapped an onslaught of premier artists for remixes on the record, such as Aesthetic Perfection, SeamlessR, KATFYR, as well as a VIP mix by Klayton himself.
“On the production side, a large percentage of the synth/sound design has come from racks and racks of modular/analogue synths and outboard gear,” Klayton said. “Although, the process of using hardware can takes longer, I end up with results that I couldn’t get out of software and I’m also having a lot of fun doing it.”
Loudwire and FiXT Music pioneer Celldweller teamed up to release the first single from the second installment of the End of an Empire series, titled Love. This installment pushes the limits of rock-driven electronic music while sending the listener into a frenzy fueled by adrenaline and emotion. Celldweller mastermind Klayton chad this to say about the End of an Empire series:
End of an Empire is me, myself and I in my studio surrounded by lots of gear,” said Celldweller mastermind Klayton. “From the very first sound I lay down for a track to the final mastering, I’m in control over the final product.
Chad Childers at Loudwire describes “Down To Earth” as follows:
The hard-hitting electronic rocker is equal parts funky and aggressive, giving you as much opportunity to dance as you can headbang.
The epic 7-minute rocker is a roller coaster ride filled with heavy guitars, blasting drums, gritty synthesizers and monstrous vocals.
